Privacy Policy
This text is a legally careful draft for APB Trade and should be reviewed and finalized by the service owner and, if necessary, legal counsel.
1. General Provisions
APB Trade is a fan-made service for publishing and exchanging in-game trade offers. The service is not affiliated with APB Reloaded rightsholders. This policy describes how personal data of website users may be processed within the actual mechanics of the service.
2. Personal Data Operator
Operator: [Specify the full name / legal name of the operator]. Contact: [Specify the operator contact e-mail]. Requests related to personal data processing should be sent to this contact.
3. Categories of Data Processed
The service may process e-mail address, username, password hash, game characters, trade listings, reputation votes and comments, cookie and session identifiers, localStorage consent flags, IP address and technical server logs where such logs exist, dates of registration and activity, and technical account status data used for authorization, moderation, presence, and service operation.
4. Purposes of Processing
Personal data may be processed for registration and authentication, marketplace operation, publication and display of trade listings, operation of public character pages, reputation system operation, moderation and anti-spam protection, service security, performance of the user agreement, and compliance with legal obligations applicable to the operator.
5. Legal Bases
Processing may be based on user consent, the user agreement, legitimate obligations of the operator under applicable law, and the necessity to protect the service, its users, and its technical infrastructure.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The service uses technical cookies, session data, and localStorage for authorization, language preference, cookie consent, and correct website operation. As of this draft, the service does not declare use of third-party advertising analytics. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this policy should be updated accordingly.
7. Storage and Localization
The active database is intended to be stored on infrastructure located in the Russian Federation if that corresponds to the actual hosting arrangement. Data is stored no longer than necessary for the purposes of processing. Backup copies may remain until the applicable backup rotation period expires.
8. Account Deletion
A user may request account deletion through the website interface. After the request, the account is immediately hidden from public sections, including trade listings, characters, and public pages. The user may cancel deletion within 7 days by logging in. After the grace period, the account is anonymized: e-mail, password or password hash, characters, and active identifiers are removed or anonymized, and the username is released for reuse. Registration with the same e-mail after anonymization becomes technically possible. Reputation votes and comments may remain in anonymized form as part of the service trust history, and the author of such content is displayed as "deleted user". Data contained in backups may remain until backup rotation but is not used in active processing.
9. User Rights
The user may request information about processing, request correction of inaccurate data, withdraw consent where applicable, request deletion, contact the operator, and file a complaint with the competent authority in accordance with applicable law.
10. Transfer to Third Parties
The service does not sell personal data and does not transfer personal data for advertising purposes. Technical transfer to a hosting provider or infrastructure providers may occur to the extent necessary for service operation.
11. Security Measures
Passwords are stored as hashes rather than in plain text. The operator may use organizational and technical measures intended to protect data. HTTPS protections apply if they are actually enabled on the production server.
12. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when service mechanics, infrastructure, or legal requirements change. Last updated: 2026-06-24.
